Is it possible instead of special results template to use view to output search results?
You can use an exposed filter in Views that makes Views kind of feel like search, but I don't think it's possible to use Views to style search output.
What are you trying to achieve with the output?
I know about exposed filters of views but in my case I need real search. I already know how to change search output view, it would've been just much easier if I can show items in search same as in view without writing this by hand.
